Basic information for all products either bought or sold. Products can be raw material, finished or both. Easy to add and update basic product information, easy to filter particular types of products.

2. You will see the "Initial Product Details" screen .
2.1 This screen shows all the information you can enter for a product and this can be extensive so there are other menus that show selected information for example information relating to the selling of products, the buying of products and the manufacture of products.
2.2 This list of columns shows all the information you can enter and it excludes all calculated data.
2.3 You can edit/add new records on tabular screen showed above, or you can use “Edit” column / Add New button to update or add new product, both layouts are same.

Important columns to check are:
-Stock item Yes/No -means there will be a detailed audit of all stock adjustments for this product
-Batch control Yes / No (New) means any adjustment of this stock must relate to a specific batch
Default settings for the above can be set in screen configuration (need to be clear where ie which screen or is a system setting for all products somewhere ). The screen configuration can also be used to hide columns you don’t use and rename user definable columns to your specific requirements.
