Create Product Routing
Overview
Product routings define how a product should be made ie what steps are needed to build the product such as
Step 1 - Cut the material.
Step 2 - Drill holes
Step 3-Paint
Or maybe other jobs require
Step 1 add materials A
Step 2 add materials B
Step 3 Mix materials
These routings also need to be assigned to a Resource which is normally the machine that will actually do the work or carry out the mixing process. Adding a resource allows companies to Plan what jobs are going through which machines.
Note if there is a cost against the resource it will have no effect here but will be used in the product routing and multiplied by the estimated or actual time to calculate the estimated and actual overhead cost

Process
1.Menu Screen : MANUFACTURE -ROUTING
2.Here you will see the “Routing Information” screen .
3. Now follow the below procedure :
3.1 If it is a new routing you can add the information in “Add New Records” section then press “Update”.
3.2 If it is an existing routing you can edit information as required then press “Update”.
When this product is added to Manufacture Order the system will automatically copy the routing to the MO and apply an individual Person Cost and a Resource Cost to calculate the Estimated Labour Cost of that MO. The Actual Labour Cost is calculated automatically when people scan ON and OFF the above routing.
Before creating the routing we need to set up a list of Resources/ machines that the job will pass through. See section Adding resources.
These Routing or Stages will automatically appear on the Job Card with Barcodes to enable employees to scan ON and OFF the operation and record how much time they spend on each Stage.
