Importing data from a spreadsheet and exporting
Any screen in the WBS system can import data from a spreadsheet. This is particularly useful when setting up a system or importing information after a stock take for example.
Any screen can also export data to a spreadsheet for further analysis or to modify on bulk and re import.

Basic steps to Import are:
- Make sure import / export button is visible at the bottom of the screen. If its not displayed then switch configuration on and enable import / export for that screen then switch configuration off again.
- Read the guide on importing data next to the button at the bottom of the screen.
- Review the key columns in screen details.
- Click easy import and configure the screen layout to match the spreadsheet to be imported.
- Select spreadsheet file to import.
- Press Import and it will read the spreadsheet and import the data into the WBS system.
- Any errors in the data will be displayed and WBS allows you to correct the data to complete the import.

- Make sure import / export button is visible at the bottom of the screen. If its not displayed then switch configuration on and enable import / export for that screen then switch configuration off again.
- Filter the information as required.
- Press export and it will export to a spreadsheet.
