Once a Job Card is created with barcodes for every Bill of material the operator can simply scan the material barcode and enter the quantity of raw material used to book material to the Job.
This screen is ideal for a tablet where the operator does not want to scan a barcode but rather just indicate against a list of operations what they are doing by entering their employee number.
As a job is tracked through the various stages either by the use of barcodes or a simple tracking screen designed for tablets information is recorded in time sheet and the user or administrator can go into time sheet and adjust the time started or finished etc. This is typically done if some one forgets to scan off a job for example.
Here the operator can enter the amount of finished stock made along with the date and time and batch number if required. Stock can be reduced from stores and booked to the job.
In Addition to above there are two options to add material to a Manufacture Order.
Manually add materials to the Manufacture Order and reduce stock of raw materials OR automatically add materials to the Manufacture Order and reduce materials from stock according to the Bill of Materials.
- Option 1 Add material manually during the manufacture process- System setting A2=NO
- Option 2 Automatically calculating the materials that should have been used according to the BOM when finished product is entered into stores - System setting A2=Yes
