The WBS System allows Sage 50 to connect in real time to the WBS system allowing you can use the WBS Modules as Sage 50 add ons to your Sage 50 system. These Sage 50 add ons use our Sage 50 link to both read and write data between WBS and Sage 50. Typical benefits can be :

Read information from Sage 50
The Sage 50 link can read data from sage such as Products,Customers,Suppliers etc and automatically update this in WBS when changes are made in Sage. This is a synchronization process which means when Customers for example are updated in Sage the sage data is synchronized with the Customer data in WBS. This real time link allows the WBS modules to be used as Sage 50 add ons thus improving the power or Sage 50.
Write information to Sage 50
This happens for example when you use the Sage 50 Manufacturing module to reduce Sage stock in terms of raw materials and increase finished goods when products are made in WBS. Information is also be written to sage when using the Sage 50 Pick and Dispatch module which allows you to use a bar code scanners to pick Sales orders that are in Sage. Apart from the Sage 50 Manufacture and the Sage 50 Pick and Dispatch other modules also follow a similar process add functionality to your system .

There are two typical two solutions for manufacturing companies that use our Sage 50 link .

1-Leave the Sales, Purchases, Dispatch and Stock control in Sage 50
and let WBS take care of all the manufacturing processes such as Bills of Material product costing, routings job tracking (possibly with barcodes or tablets), job costing and when stock is used or finished product made simply update sage with a stock adjustment, cost and a reason ie used or made by Manufacture Order 1234. 2-Use WBS to manage all Sales and Purchases order processing
In this set up WBS will just send the invoice to Sage 50 when goods are dispatched.
